Try to make it fail.
Press it, then put it through what your customer will:
- Wash it ten times. Hot, print facing out, in with the rest of your laundry.
- Stretch it across the grain if you want, but the wash test is the only one that settles it.
- Check the middle of the print after the tenth wash. That’s where it starts. Pinholes or hairline cracks, long before anything flakes.
- Tilt the metallic DTF under the shop lights and watch how the silver shifts with the angle.
None of this is a trick. If a transfer is going to fail, this is how it fails. You’d rather find out on a sample than on two hundred shirts.
Three checkpoints. Every order.
At the printer, an operator reads each print from underneath, where banding shows. At the oven exit, every roll is flipped face-up to check white ink registration. Before it ships, every order is re-rolled and inspected by hand. Anything that fails is cut out and the film joined back. You don't pay for the gap.
Film and ink are tested by the batch.
Film can behave differently from one batch to the next, even under the same model number. So a sample roll from every batch is tested here before it's imported: vibrancy against our master colour chart first, then ten washes at 60°C. One pinhole fails it. Our own engineering team maintains every machine, and builds our oven tunnels and inspection rig in-house.
